Oxford Community Foundation (OCF) works with individuals, charities, and businesses to create Endowment Funds, most of which are permanent. The original capital is then invested strategically to generate income, ensuring your donations last a lifetime. We then use that income to offer grants that support the missions and visions of charities across Oxford County.

When you open a Fund with OCF, your contribution is invested into stocks and securities – like what you might do with your RRSP. Over time, you can grant from this Fund to any charity of your choice. Because your grants come from the income earned on the Fund, this Fund can last forever. This means when you start a Fund at OCF, the impact you make will outlive you – a first step to creating your legacy.

Oxford Community Foundation was established in 2003 from the dedication of a group of community-minded individuals who believed that local generosity, carefully stewarded, could transform lives. We honour our passionate founder, Pat Smith, whose vision and determination brought the Foundation to life.

Since our humble beginnings, we have disbursed more than $2.2 million in grants to over 115 charitable organizations across Oxford County, fostering lasting change and providing essential support to those who need it most.
